The people behind Benicool.

Benicool started in 2023 as a project among friends and has been a company, Benicool SRL, since 2025, based in Genoa, Italy. There are four of us: each looks after one part of the work, and every website goes through our hands.

    Andrea Semonella

    Managing Director

    Entrepreneur from Genoa with a degree in Design from Politecnico di Milano. He also leads SEO and content for his family's window and door businesses. At Benicool he picks the landmarks and languages, and builds the strategy that gets them found on Google.

  • Paolo Sanetti

    Paolo Sanetti

    Administration and strategy

    Looks after Benicool's administration: bookkeeping, invoices and the company's finances. And works with the other partners on the strategic plans that grow the network.

  • Alberto Frulla

    Alberto Frulla

    Design and graphics

    Yacht designer with a designer's eye. At Benicool he looks after the logos, the graphics and the imagery across the websites: the visual side of the network is his.

  • Filippo Rossi

    Filippo Rossi

    Technology and AI

    Expert in technology and, above all, artificial intelligence. At Benicool he brought AI into every stage of the work, from research to publishing: it is the innovation that lets us open new landmarks and languages faster.

How we work

Three rules we don't change.

    Independent guides, and we say so

    None of our websites presents itself as the landmark's official site. Every guide says so, because readers should know who is talking to them.

  2. 02

    Data first, opinions second

    We only open a landmark or a language when search data supports it, and we measure every website after it goes live.

  3. 03

    Every language written for its reader

    One website per language, written for that audience. A word-for-word translation does not answer the right questions.
